About this role
Sample Supports is seeking a Residential Department Leader to provide organization-wide leadership and direction for our Residential Department. This role is responsible for the overall quality, compliance, development, and success of residential services across all regions.
The Residential Department Leader will oversee residential operations and program leaders, maintain a small caseload across regions, manage residential RFPs, and lead the implementation and development of Sample Supports' foster care program.
What You'll Do
• Lead and oversee the Residential Department across all regions
• Provide direction, support, and accountability to residential program leaders
• Ensure consistent, high-quality residential services across the organization
• Oversee residential compliance, licensing requirements, audits, and quality standards
• Maintain a small residential caseload across regions
• Manage residential RFPs and support the development and implementation of new residential opportunities
• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of the foster care program
• Develop consistent residential systems, processes, and expectations across regions
• Monitor program performance and identify opportunities for improvement and growth
• Partner with regional and executive leadership on residential strategy and organizational needs
• Support complex residential placements, incidents, and program needs as necessary
What We're Looking For
• Experience leading residential, human services, foster care, or related programs
• Strong knowledge of compliance, licensing, and quality assurance
• Strong leadership and program development skills
• Ability to oversee programs and teams across multiple regions
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage both established programs and new program development
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
This position is ideal for a strong leader who can provide department-wide direction and consistency while continuing to develop and grow residential services at Sample Supports.
