Sustainability | OMVPetrom.com Your tasks Ensure accurate, timely and compliant processing of assigned tasks, including trade validation, deal checking, trade booking, confirmations, settlement instructions and monitoring of pending transactions. Perform daily reconciliations and controls including broker reconciliations, clearing bank reconciliations, OTE reconciliations, review of open items and maintenance of operational KPI and control reports. Perform broker-related processes including broker fee verification, processing, month-end activities and liaison with brokers, exchanges and clearing institutions. Execute invoice and payment processes for OTC, service hedge and other trading-related activities, including invoice approval, invoice verification, payment processing and resolution of discrepancies within approved control frameworks. Perform month-end closing activities (MEC) related to trading operations, including service hedge accounting support, reconciliations and reporting requirements in relevant trading and financial systems. Initiate, verify and monitor margin call and cash collateral activities, ensuring timely processing, payment execution and coordination with Treasury, Accounting and Counterparty Administration. Perform compliance and counterparty controls, including KYC reviews, callback procedures, regulatory checks and adherence to internal control system (ICS) requirements and applicable trading regulations. Your profile Master’s degree in finance Relevant professional experience: > 5 years Good to advanced execution skills proved by ability to adjust new tasks & situations in an effective manner, showing flexibility in the way of thinking and acting Proven, good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office and SAP application Excellent problem-solving, analytical and numerical abilities Solid ability to innovate, suggesting improvements to the work related to own and adjacent activities, participation in developing solutions to complex problems and identifying opportunities to improve activities Solid understanding of Back Office Tasks and familiar with the energy trading market would be beneficial Solid knowledge and understanding of related legislations / norms, internal rules/guidelines, in multiple areas of expertise Advanced knowledge of English language (written and spoken) What OMV Petrom can offer you Long weekend plans are always welcome - on Friday, our office hours end at 14.00.
