Sustainability | OMVPetrom.com Your tasks Perform and coordinate monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities for assigned companies in accordance with IFRS, Local GAAP and internal accounting guidelines. Prepare, review and post complex accounting transactions, reconciliations, accruals, provisions and other closing entries while ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial statements. Prepare and report monthly and quarterly IFRS reporting packages for Group consolidation for assigned companies within required quality standards and timelines. Coordinate the preparation, audit and filing of annual statutory financial statements and support external and internal audits by providing required documentation, analyses and explanations. Act as accounting focal point for assigned companies and support business, controlling, tax and finance stakeholders regarding accounting, reporting and closing related topics. Define and coordinate appropriate IFRS and Local GAAP accounting treatments for complex transactions and business events, including preparation and alignment of accounting position papers and accounting memos. Monitor compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and company policies and ensure high quality financial reporting and documentation. Support and drive accounting process improvements, digitalization and automation initiatives to increase efficiency, quality and standardization within the Finance organization. Your profile Master’s degree in Economics/ Business Administration/ Accounting Relevant professional experience: > 7 years Solid know-how of and experience in Local GAAP and IFRS accounting and reporting SAP experience Profund knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) Ability to work in teams and deal with complex accounting subjects, processes and projects High individual responsibility and independence in collaborating with Management and Stakeholders Fluency in English What OMV Petrom can offer you Long weekend plans are always welcome - on Friday, our office hours end at 14.00.
