How do you help make a difference? As a Solution Architect, you grasp the complexity associated with modern platform solutions and break it down into simpler, understandable elements for both engineers and business stakeholders. You facilitate architectural processes, identify desired qualities and constraints, ensure risks and trade-offs are discussed within the involved teams, and guide stakeholders to make informed decisions. You contribute to SNCB/NMBS by ensuring solution architectures evolve in a direction that supports the business case while respecting existing architectural guardrails. What is your role at Ypto? As a Solution Architect, you will take on the following responsibilities: You ensure that the architecture of the products assigned to you is sound, well understood, and continues to evolve in a direction that best supports the business case and follows existing guardrails. You facilitate architectural debates, ensuring architectural decisions are made consciously and that trade-offs and derived risks are clearly understood by both technical teams and client stakeholders. You act as a key partner between enterprise and domain architecture teams and solution designers or technical leads. You ensure that solutions approved by the architecture board are correctly implemented by validating solution designs and following up on implementation activities. You share architectural knowledge with colleagues and contribute to collective expertise. You evaluate project constraints, identify alternatives, alleviate risks, perform re-engineering when required, and keep stakeholders informed of architecture-related issues.
