About this role

Provide day-to-day support of all Front End department operations, policies, processes and procedures. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Explore and develop more effective and efficient processes, policies and procedures for Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting. • Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End, Customer Service and Accounting. • Ensure safe, effective and efficient customer service is provided throughout department. • Improve Shopping Experience Progress Report, Customer Tracker, Associate Tracker, Cash Over/Short, CCG, ELMS utilization, Customer Comment Cards, FES Evaluations, Bob Audits, and Key Retailing Measurements. • Provide training, support and follow up on all aspects of Key Retailing. • Coach and train customer service manager and front end supervisors. • Demonstrate the ability and desire to promote, communicate and implement company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive and respectful manner. • Support store management and customer service manager in maintaining a well-organized, clean, pleasant shopping environment at the check stands, front-end, Self Service Checkouts, Customer Service Center, Accounting Room and parking lot area. • Follow through on special assignments and perform any and all duties as assigned. • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum

• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as the work demands. • Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed (emphasis on Prime Time) • Store retail experience with an emphasis on customer service and front-end operations. • Ability to multi task and handle large workloads. • Effective written and oral communication skills. • Ability to learn a wide range of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACE, Supersked, etc. • Understanding of all key components of department operations (ie. Managing people, merchandising, inventory management, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, expense control) • Past work record must exhibit a high level of integrity and dependability.
