About this role
Starting pay: $19 Supports the Team Member Dining Room by preparing basic food items, maintaining a clean and stocked service area, assisting with food presentation and replenishment, and ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and guest‑ready environment for all team members.
• Preps and portions food items according to established recipes and standards • Restocks hot and cold stations to maintain continuous availability • Monitors food quality, temperature, and presentation • Maintains cleanliness of service lines, dining room, and prep areas; assists with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory • Sets up and breaks down stations for meal periods • Responds promptly to team member needs and requests • Follows all sanitation, food‑handling, and safety procedures; communicates effectively with culinary and front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth operations • Supports kitchen team during peak periods. prep and cleaning • Performs additional duties or special assignments as required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred • Prior food service, prep cook, or hospitality experience helpful but not required • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment • Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods • Lift and carry up to 30 lbs • Bend, reach, and move quickly in kitchen and dining areas; work in environments with heat, cold, noise, and variable temperatures • Ability to obtain and maintain any required food safety certifications.
