The Governing Body of Brierley CE (VC) Primary School warmly invites applications from experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled Teaching Assistants to join our hardworking, supportive and happy team.
We are seeking a dedicated professional who has a passion for supporting learning in Key Stage 2, helping pupils to grow in confidence, independence and achievement. The successful candidate may work across the school, but will bring valuable experience and a strong commitment to Key Stage 2 practice.
This position is temporary for one year in the first instance

About the Role
Support pupils’ learning within the classroom, particularly within Key Stage 2Work with pupils individually and in small groups, to achieve targetsProvide emotional support and encouragement, helping children to feel safe, confident and ready to learnAssist the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning activitiesHelp to promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s high expectationsContribute to creating a nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environmentWork collaboratively as part of a team to support the needs of all pupilsUndertake lunchtime supervisory duties, ensuring children are safe, happy and well supported during unstructured times

The successful candidate:
Is passionate about supporting children’s learning, particularly in Key Stage 2Builds positive, supportive relationships with pupils and staffDemonstrates initiative, flexibility and a strong team spirit
