About this role

Position Summary The Sample Login Technician is responsible for receiving client samples, organizing client information and samples, delivering samples, completing data entry, and performing related duties for all clients in support of the Sample Login Team. Key Responsibilities Receive and organize all client samples Perform data entry Unpack samples and organize them according to analytical requirements Ensure client samples are entered into LIMS and approved in a timely manner according to sample holding time, test code, due date, and/or received date Ensure all required samples are redirected as required Ensure accuracy of results and data entry Recognize routine and non-routine issues and escalate to the Supervisor when required Follow Bureau Veritas quality systems (QA/QC), SOPs, and external accreditation requirements Follow Bureau Veritas safety policies Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications / Skills High School Diploma required Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Ability to work independently and collaborate with others when escalation is required Positive attitude, energetic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where prioritizing and adapting to change is required Working Conditions High level of production in a fast-paced laboratory environment Flexible working hours, including overtime, shift work, and weekends Changing priorities and balancing workload to meet tight deadlines Some lifting and carrying (up to 40 lbs) and may involve long periods of standing Handling hazardous materials using established safety procedures and appropriate equipment
