You will gain exposure to a wide range of construction projects while learning how to interpret Building Regulations, assess compliance and support clients throughout the construction process. Key Responsibilities Assist with Building Regulations plan assessments Attend site inspections alongside qualified Registered Building Inspectors Develop knowledge of Building Regulations and Approved Documents Support the preparation of statutory documentation Record inspection findings and assist in producing reports Liaise with architects, contractors, developers and clients Participate in technical training and development programmes Develop knowledge of the Building Safety Act and RBI competency requirements Maintain accurate project records and documentation Support the delivery of a high-quality Building Control service About You We're seeking technically minded individuals who enjoy problem-solving, are keen to learn and are looking to develop a long-term career within the construction industry. To apply, you will need one of the following : A minimum of 3 A-Levels at Grade C or above (or equivalent, 80 UCAS points) A Level 3 NVQ qualification in Construction or a related discipline Demonstrable experience in a relevant field, such as: Construction Building Services Fire Safety Engineering Armed Forces/Ex-Military Other technical or compliance-based environments Essential Skills A genuine interest in Building Control and the built environment Strong problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good attention to detail Microsoft Office proficiency Ability to learn and apply technical legislation and guidance Full UK driving licence Why Join London Building Control in partnership with Bureau Veritas?
