About the RoleWe are hiring a Supply Chain & Procurement Director for a fast-growing functional beverage brand in the US. The company manufactures and sells a colorful, flavor-forward product line at significant scale, with 100+ active SKUs, weekly new flavor drops, and a tolling-based manufacturing model across 50+ ingredients.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who can keep a fast-moving product calendar fully supplied without overbuying. You will own planning, procurement, manufacturing coordination, and inventory across the entire operation, and you will be the person who spots shortages, bottlenecks, and risks before they turn into stockouts.
What You Will DoSupply Chain Planning
Own the end to end supply chain planning process across raw materials, packaging, finished goods, production timelines, and inventory availabilityEnsure the brand is never out of stock and is prepared for rapid sales spikes, limited edition drops, and weekly product launchesBuild and maintain systems that support 100+ active SKUs and frequent new flavor innovationPartner with manufacturing, operations, finance, product development, and leadership to align production planning with demandIdentify bottlenecks, risks, and shortages before they become business problems
Procurement & Raw Material Management
Manage procurement across 50+ ingredients, including flavor systems, functional ingredients, packaging, and other raw materialsOwn supplier relationships and negotiate aggressively to secure the lowest possible cost without compromising quality, lead times, or supply reliabilityBuild multiple sourcing options for critical ingredients to reduce dependency and improve leverageMonitor lead times, MOQs, price changes, supplier capacity, and inventory riskDrive continuous cost savings across the supply base
Manufacturing Coordination
Work directly with toll manufacturers to ensure production is completed on time, in full, and to quality standardsTrack production schedules, ingredient availability, packaging readiness, and finished goods outputHold manufacturing partners accountable to agreed timelines, quality standards, and service levelsEscalate issues quickly and solve problems in real timeSupport rapid product drops and innovation cycles without sacrificing execution quality
Inventory, Forecasting & Cash Conversion
Maintain accurate inventory visibility across raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goodsBuild planning tools and reporting that help the business make fast, informed inventory decisionsBalance inventory availability with cash discipline, avoiding both stockouts and unnecessary overbuyingImprove the cash conversion cycle through smarter purchasing, better production planning, and tighter inventory managementAnalyze demand patterns, drop performance, reorder needs, and SKU velocity
Quality & On Time Execution
Ensure every product is produced to specification and meets brand quality expectationsPartner with QA and manufacturing teams to address product, ingredient, packaging, or production issues immediatelyEnsure product availability supports fast shipping, accurate orders, and a strong customer experienceProtect the brand by making sure supply chain execution matches the speed of customer demandRequirements
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, production planning, manufacturing coordination, or operations leadershipExperience with food, beverage, supplements, CPG, powders, stick packs, or high SKU consumer products strongly preferredStrong procurement and supplier negotiation skillsHighly analytical with excellent Excel skillsStrong written and verbal communication, with fast, clear, and accurate responsesStrong understanding of inventory planning, lead times, purchase orders, production schedules, and the cash conversion cycleAbility to manage multiple priorities, vendors, ingredients, timelines, and urgent issues at onceExtremely detail oriented and highly accountableComfortable in a fast paced, high pressure, high growth environmentWillingness to be highly responsive outside traditional business hours when the business requires itDetails
