Role overview
Remote Recruitment is looking for a remote Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support a UK-based employer from South Africa. You'll run the purchase ledger end to end and keep supplier relationships in good shape. This is a fully remote role working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).
Key responsibilities
Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase ordersPrepare and run weekly payment runs for approvalReconcile supplier statements and resolve queriesManage the AP inbox and respond to suppliers professionallySupport month-end close with accruals and reportingWhat you'll need
Several years of accounts payable or purchase ledger experienceFamiliarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooksStrong attention to detail and comfort with high invoice volumesClear written and spoken EnglishA reliable home internet connection and quiet workspaceWhat's on offer
