Charity People is delighted to be working with a wonderful homelessness charity to recruit for a Digital Acquisition and Supporter Journey Officer to join their talented and passionate team. Providing innovative services that act with compassion and urgency the charity works with individuals before they reach crisis point, intervening quickly and providing practical help in the form of emergency shelter and tailored support. Also an advocacy organisation, the charity uses its voice to advocate for those who aren't heard to bring about real systemic change. The Digital Acquisition and Supporter Journey Officer will focus on the hands-on delivery and optimisation of paid digital campaigns, email marketing and digital journeys that introduce new audiences to the charity, encourage initial engagement, and ongoing relationships with supporters. Working collaboratively with Fundraising and Communications colleagues, the postholder will help to build, test and embed effective approaches to achieve these goals.

Digital Acquisition and Supporter Journey Officer Contract: Permanent, full time role Salary: £37,199 Location: Hybrid role working between home and the charity's Head Office in Victoria. For the first three months, while you get to know the organisation's frontline services, you will be required to be based in the office four days per week, following which time the requirement will reduce to three days per week in office. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with solid experience working within digital marketing with a particular focus on managing paid campaigns across Google and Meta and supporting on or developing supporter journeys to join an inspirational charity that works tirelessly to end street homelessness.

Core responsibilities within the role will include:

Coordinate the delivery and optimisation of paid digital campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google to engage and retain supporters in-line with fundraising objectivesDeliver paid digital marketing activity aimed at raising brand awareness, introducing new audiences to the charity and strengthening understanding of our work and impactSupport campaign testing and learning by trialling audiences, creative and messaging and reporting on resultsCoordinate the development and improvement of supporter journeys across key digital touchpoints, including email, website journeys, campaign landing pages, sign-up flows and donation journeys, ensuring alignment and integration with relevant internal teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end experienceIdentify areas for improvement within existing journeys and support the implementation of agreed changes.Continually review and improve the implementation of performance tracking, identifying practical improvements and supporting agreed changes to enhance effectivenessMonitor and collate performance data from digital platforms, analytics tools such as GA4 and CRM reportsProduce regular performance summaries and contribute insights to inform future activitySupport a test-and-learn approach by capturing learning and sharing it with colleagues in practical, accessible ways.Support the planning, creation and scheduling of email campaigns and automated supporter journeysUse segmentation and basic personalisation to improve relevance and engagement We'd love to hear from individuals with the following skills and experience:

Experience working in a digital marketing, digital fundraising or supporter engagement roleExperience supporting or coordinating paid digital advertising campaigns including Knowledge of digital acquisition principles and paid advertising platforms such as Meta and GoogleExperience contributing to the development or improvement of digital supporter or customer journeysExperience supporting email marketing activity, including segmentation and scheduling, with knowledge of email marketing tools and CRM systemsExperience supporting the implementation or use of digital tracking, analytics or measurement tools (e.g. GA4, platform pixels) to monitor campaign or journey performanceExperience working with performance data and basic analytics; as well as an understanding of digital analytics and performance measurementExperience testing and optimising digital content, campaigns or journeys, and an understanding of how insight and testing can be used to improve digital outcomes Experience of working in a charity setting or similar is desired but not essential.
