Operations Manager – Renewable Energy and Electrical Contracting

Newton, Carnforth, £40 – £45k per annum, DOE, plus company vehicle

This is an opportunity to step into a central, influential role in a growing renewable energy and electrical contracting business, where your work will make a visible difference every day.

The successful applicant must have previous hands-on experience working as an Electrician. This practical background is important because you will be coordinating electrical projects, supporting installation teams and helping ensure work is planned and delivered to a high standard.

This is not a narrow office-based coordination role. You will be involved across the full operational flow of the business, from planning work and supporting installation teams to helping projects run smoothly and ensuring customers receive the level of service they expect.

Your previous experience as an Electrician will help you understand the practical demands of the work, communicate effectively with the team and identify potential issues before they become problems.

You will have the satisfaction of seeing your work turn into well-run projects, efficient teams, satisfied customers and high-quality installations. You will also be part of a business helping customers make practical progress towards a more sustainable future through Solar PV, renewable energy and electrical contracting solutions.

Coordinating installation teams and Electricians so work runs smoothlyPlanning and scheduling projects to make the best use of time and resourcesHelping maintain high quality standards across all workSupporting materials ordering, stock availability and returnsLiaising with customers to keep communication clear and professionalSupporting staff and helping maintain a positive working environmentAssisting with pricing, quotations and identifying chargeable extrasHelping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standardSupporting the continued growth and development of the business What will help you succeed:
