About this role
RMT is seeking to recruit an experienced journalist with industrial experience:
To ensure the delivery of a comprehensive press and media service to the Union.To develop and implement strategies to present and promote the Union’s policies to both the press and other external audiences, quickly and effectively.To work with the wider communications department to utilise the Union’s web and social media platforms to promote the Union’s message.To respond to and rebut unfair criticism of the Union, its policies or its members.To contribute to the production of campaign materials.
