Goose and Gridiron
We are currently looking to hire a Bar/Café Team Member to join our vibrant and welcoming team at the Goose and Gridiron (Freemasons’ Hall, Covent Garden).
Purpose of the Job:
The purpose of the job will be to greet, serve and look after guests while maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment in a busy bar and café environment. You will also maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace and dining area, update displays, and continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage preparation methods, trends and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and serving drinksCreating a welcoming environment for a broad range of guestsKeeping work areas, utensils and equipment and seating areas clean and well maintained.Properly handle and maintain all equipmentUnderstanding and communicating information about our food and beverage offering, including allergen awarenessRespond to orders, questions, concerns and complaints in a polite and efficient mannerReceiving and processing customer paymentsObserve relevant health and safety standardsPlus, any other reasonable duties Skills:
Excellent customer serviceExcellent verbal communication in EnglishGood personal presentationAbility to work effectively as part of a teamFlexibility and adaptabilityAbility to learn new information quicklyPhysical ability to move boxes, stock. Hours of work:
Full time 35 hours per week. Salary and Benefits:
