The post holder will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive adult and paediatric audiology service. This will include being responsible for leading the complex adult rehabilitation service.

Main duties of the job

Person Specification

Experience Essential

Extensive clinical experience in Adult Audiology Experience of working autonomously and as part of a team within the NHS

Desirable

Leading and developing an area of Audiology Involvement /leadership of audit and research

Skills Essential

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work confidently with staff at all levels Ability to deal with competing work pressures and specific deadlines.

Qualifications Essential

Band 6 and appropriate post graduate training , MSc in Audiology with CAC/HTS, or STP Audiology AHCS or HPCP Registration

Desirable

Mentorship/Supervision qualification Hold a full driving licence and has access to a car Sign Language Skills/Qualification

Knowledge Essential

Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
