About this role
Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Gather necessary working materials to demonstrate crafting techniques. Produce carvings from wood, stone and other materials. Design and create glass objects. Design metal jewellery, utensils, implements, wall hangings and other objects. Design ornamental and ceramic functional earthenware pieces. Design stained glass windows, lampshades and other objects and cut, paint, fire and assemble pieces of stained glass to create such products. Organise day-to-day business operations. Sell products on a retail basis. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish between colours. Sitting. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Personal suitability: Accurate. Excellent oral communication. Screening questions: Are you currently a student?. Do you have experience working in this field?. Do you have the equipment you need to work from home (like internet and a workspace)?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
