Job summary
Due to maternity leave we are looking for an experienced paramedic to cover from October 26 for approx 1 year. As an integral member of the practice team, you will work alongside GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paramedic seeking a role outside of emergency response, in a structured and supportive primary care environment.

Conducting acute and urgent patient assessments within the surgery Managing minor illnesses and injuries Supporting long-term condition management where appropriate Performing home visits Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient care Supporting health promotion and preventative care initiatives

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
HCPC registration as a Paramedic Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience Work Independently Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Willingness to work in a primary care setting and adapt to the needs of the surgery. Full clean driving license
Desirable
Experience in primary care or urgent care settings Independent prescribing qualification (or working towards) BLS Instructor
