Job summary
An opportunity is available for a Practice Manager to support the existing Practice Manager in delivering effective operational management within a busy rural practice. We are looking for a permanent, long-term candidate who will become an integral part of our organisation. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will help lead practice management activities, review practice policies in line with CQC compliance, have a lead role in dealing with complaints, organise meetings for significant events, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing patient flow, supporting staff recruitment and retention, and promoting a supportive and caring culture for staff. Previous experience of practice management in GP surgery would be an advantage.

Qualifications Essential
Experience in a healthcare or GP practice setting Knowledge of HR processes Leadership or management qualification
Desirable
Association Member of IPGM in view of becoming a full member (MIGPM). AMSPAR qualification (level 5 in Primary Care and Health Management).
