About this role

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and perform final repairs and component change-outs needed to complete electric golf cars and utility/LSV vehicles moving through the assembly/production process.

• Perform advanced diagnostics using diagnostic software/tools; troubleshoot from wiring schematics and point-to-point wire lists.

• Service and repair lithium battery systems, motors, controllers, chargers, and wiring harnesses.

• Adjust or replace brakes, suspension components, steering systems, and tires as needed to finalize vehicle builds.

• Install mechanical and electrical components, accessories, and change out defective parts per written job instructions and blueprints to complete the assembly operation.

• Perform final quality-control inspections — checking brakes, steering, lights, and overall drivability — before vehicles are cleared for shipment.

• Lead and mentor junior technicians and assembly staff; provide hands-on training and review their work for quality.

• Explain diagnoses and recommend repairs in clear, non-technical terms to production leads and management.

• Maintain accurate repair records, work orders, and documentation for every unit completed.

• Follow all PPE and safety protocols; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area on the production floor.

• Report recurring faults, defects, or quality issues to management to support continuous improvement of the assembly line.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience as a mechanic or technician working on golf cars, LSVs, Power Sports/ATVs, or electric vehicle systems, with a strong record of advanced diagnostic and repair work.

• Strong working knowledge of 36V/48V/72V electrical systems, including lithium battery diagnostics and repair.

• Proven ability to read and work from wiring schematics, technical manuals, and job instructions.

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, OEM scan tools, etc.).

• Experience diagnosing and repairing electric drive systems, motors, and controllers.

• Good physical stamina — ability to lift heavy components and stand/bend for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and a track record of quality, defect-free repair work.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Have

• Manufacturer-specific certifications (Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, Star EV, ICON, Evolution, etc.).
