The roots of Martin Companies trace back to 1973 when Dennis & Geraldine Martin started in business trading as Martin Appliance Service. In addition to servicing household appliances, Dennis occasionally provided commercial refrigeration and water softener repairs. Over the years, the Lord blessed his customer service efforts, and the volume of work continued to increase and is still increasing today, giving us the privilege of serving thousands of customers throughout Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, and nearby regions.
The company is family-owned and operated by the Martin family, with a passion for serving others and customers in a God-honoring way. The Appliance Installation Team Leader
We are seeking a motivated Appliance Install Team Leader to join our team and lead a truck team in building strong relationships with our customers by installing kitchen and laundry appliances.
A successful Appliance Install Team Leader will possess a servant’s heart and take the lead in providing a professional installation experience. The technical aspect of your role is essential, and we will provide in-depth training, including extensive on-site training, in this area. Your professional demeanor and attitude also play a tremendous part in how effective your truck team will be. We are seeking a team leader who can work collaboratively within the team and take initiative independently, without direct supervision. This is a full-time position with available overtime.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Serve as Truck Lead: Lead by example, direct your installation helper as needed, and oversee keeping the installation truck organized and stocked.
• Install Residential Appliances: Install kitchen and laundry appliances efficiently and professionally while protecting the customer’s property, including making water, electrical, and gas connections as needed.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Identify and resolve installation issues, using technical support from the service department, Installation Manager, or other installers when needed.
• Customer Communication: Take the lead in customer communications by greeting the customer, confirming installation details, and then explaining appliance use and maintenance to customers after the installation is complete.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the Installation Manager, sales team, and other install teams to improve the team and customer experience.
• Adhere to safety protocols: Lead your team in following safe work practices, protecting customers’ property, and complying with company safety standards while driving company vehicles.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• A desire to serve others.

• Experience in Mechanical or Carpentry Trades is ideal.
