Your Role Perform mold changes, machine setups, startups, and shutdowns for injection molding equipment Establish and verify process parameters to meet quality, productivity, and customer requirements Troubleshoot molding, material, tooling, and machine-related issues to minimize downtime Monitor production performance and make process adjustments to maintain optimal cycle times and quality standards Support APQP, PPAP, and customer-specific automotive quality requirements Ensure products meet specifications through first-piece inspections and ongoing process verification Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing concerns Perform basic preventative maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary equipment Document setup data, process changes, downtime events, and corrective actions Assist in training operators on standard work instructions, quality requirements, and safe operating procedures Promote and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, efficiency improvements, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Your Skills High School diploma or GED Journeymen’s card preferred 3 years injection molding setup experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and quality documentation Previous experience with 10–500-ton capacity machines What we offer Full comprehensive health insurance, dental, vision, flexible spending account Disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off Huf celebrates diversity, supports inclusiveness and encourages individual expression in our workplace.
