Find out more about life at Alter Domus at careers.alterdomus.com YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Analysis & Organisational Design Conduct comprehensive current-state analysis of organisational structures, operating models, roles, and accountabilities across business units. Support the design of a target operating model that aligns with strategic objectives, optimises spans and layers, and enables scalable growth. Develop detailed process maps, value stream analyses, and capability assessments to identify improvement opportunities. Analyse interdependencies between people, process, technology, and governance elements of the operating model. Contribute to the definition of future-state roles, RACI matrices, and organisational blueprints. Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders across functions to gather requirements, pain points, and aspirations. Build strong working relationships with business leaders, operational teams, technology partners, and project management office (PMO). Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories for technology and process workstreams. Support change impact assessments and stakeholder mapping to inform change management strategies. Technology-Enabled Transformation Partner with IT, product, and architecture teams to understand technology solutions and their implications for the operating model. Define functional requirements and business logic for tech-enabled tools, workflows, and automation opportunities. Support the evaluation and selection of technology platforms and vendors where required. Ensure alignment between business processes and system capabilities, identifying gaps and proposing solutions. Programme Support & Delivery Support programme workstreams by maintaining documentation, tracking dependencies, and coordinating deliverables. Develop business cases, options papers, and decision packs for senior leadership and steering committees. Monitor progress against milestones, identify risks and issues, and contribute to remediation plans. Assist with data analysis, reporting, and insights to inform programme governance and decision-making. Participate in testing, user acceptance, and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business needs. Change Management & Communication Support the design and delivery of change activities, including communications, training materials, and readiness assessments. Help identify change resistance and contribute to strategies that build engagement and adoption. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and knowledge assets to enable smooth transition to new ways of working. YOUR PROFILE Experience 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, or management consulting, ideally within financial services, asset management, or professional services. Demonstrated involvement in organisational redesign, operating model transformation, or business process reengineering initiatives. Experience working on technology-enabled change programmes, including requirements gathering, process design, and user acceptance testing. Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional programme environments. Exposure to fund administration, investor services, or asset servicing is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex challenges into structured, actionable components. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, comfortable working with senior leaders and technical teams alike. Proficiency in business analysis techniques including process mapping, gap analysis, data analysis, and business case development. High attention to detail with strong documentation and presentation capabilities (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Miro). Ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced transformation environment. Intellectually curious with a passion for continuous improvement and learning. Technical Knowledge Understanding of target operating models, organisational design principles, and process optimisation frameworks. Familiarity with technology concepts such as workflow automation, system integration, APIs, and cloud-based platforms. Experience using collaboration and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Fenergo, Subscribe). Knowledge of data governance, reporting, and business intelligence tools advantageous. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MSc) desirable. Business analysis certification (e.g., BCS, IIBA/CBAP) or consulting training (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Big 4) highly valued. Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, CSPO) a plus. DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS Prior experience in a secondment or client-side role from a top-tier consulting firm. Background in fund administration, private equity, alternative investments, or wealth management. Exposure to regulatory change programmes or compliance-driven transformation Understanding of change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR). Experience with service design, customer journey mapping, or lean/six sigma methodologies.
