About this role

School Psychological Examiner JOB DESCRIPTION LINK Every student brings a unique set of strengths, experiences, and needs to school. As a School Psychologist with Special School District (SSD), you will help uncover those strengths while working alongside families and educational teams to identify the supports that allow students to learn, grow, and succeed. Your expertise will help shape meaningful decisions that influence a student's educational journey, ensuring recommendations are thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in evidence. Through comprehensive evaluations, consultation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, you will help schools better understand each learner and build pathways that support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success. We are seeking an examiner to serve districtwide. Education and Experience

• Master's degree in a related field required

• Prior diagnostic experience in special education preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certification as a school psychological examiner OR eligibility to obtain required certification required

Salary

• $49,000 - $83,250/year based on education and experience

Calendar

• 10-month school year (August to June), exact dates dependent on assigned location(s)
