QualificationsIn addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Negotiating prices, terms, and conditions of contracts; 2) Performing cost and price analysis to determine cost/price reasonableness; 3) Performing all contractual post-award functions; and 4) Conducting post award conferences with the contractor to clarify contractual requirements and special provisions; and 5) Interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to specific contracting issues. Major DutiesYou will create documents, pertinent justifications, determinations, or findings in contractual awards.You will conduct pre-negotiation conferences to negotiate prices, terms, conditions, contract modifications, and settlements.You will direct a full range of procurement pre-award and post-awards functions to include drafting and issuing solicitations, negotiations, source selection, contract award, contract modifications, and contract closeout.You will interpret procurement regulations and policies for activity specialists.You will develop contracting techniques and procurement approaches to solve procurement problems.
