QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1. Managing multi-disciplinary functions including facilities planning, maintenance, utilities, transportation, engineering, construction acquisition, and environmental compliance. 2. Resolving grievances at the lowest level, and supervising personnel under civil service and Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines. 3. Tracking and managing diverse funding streams, budgets, labor expenditures, or utility billings. 4. Interfacing with, briefing, and negotiating with high-ranking military officers, senior civilian executives, and local/state government officials. Major DutiesYou will provide expert direction and assistance to all other supervisors in the Public Works Department on personnel and human resources matters.You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, consideration of difficulty and requirements of the assignments and capability of the employee.You will maintain liaison with high-level managers throughout the installation and help coordinate the Department's efforts to satisfy the client's needs.You will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, preparing, executing, tracking and implementing the control and distribution of sustainment, maintenance and repair, facility service, utilities and transportation funding.You will ensure all Public Works functions are in compliance with regulations governing budget, accounting and expenditures and that the maintenance, utilities and transportation products and services provided are cost effective and high quality.
