Job SummaryYou will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1.) Receiving, reviewing, and monitoring incoming requisitions and verifying availability of material;2.) Contacting various Item Managers for release of material, customers, other supply organizations, transportation services and vendors to obtain material information, and to expedite delivery of critical material to the customer; 3.) Performing causative research for material discrepancies, reviewing transaction histories, receipt documents to determine the cause of discrepancies; 4.) Processing issues, receipts and research in various supply information systems; 5.) Preparing, processing, and submitting requisitions, in the appropriate database, for the customer as needed to support various logistics evolutions; 6.) Major DutiesYou will receive, review, and monitor incoming requisitions and verify availability of material.You will perform analytical research and compile operational statistics and supply performance metrics.You will assist supervisor in providing on the job training to new and junior employees.You will prepare and maintain various supply reports as required.
