About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Remote location. Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Perform general farm duties. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
