Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per year
Requirements: Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong written communication skills.A genuine passion for IT and technology.Experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.Experience in networking, including switches, VLANs, routing, wireless and firewalls, would be advantageous.Experience with VMware and virtualisation technologies would be advantageous.Experience with C#, .NET and ASP WebForms/WinForms development would be advantageous.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, reporting and database querying would be advantageous.Experience with IT ticketing and job management systems would be advantageous. Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day IT support to users across the business.Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, software and peripheral devices.Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and server environments.Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.Set up new users, devices and system access.Maintain and support servers, infrastructure and business systems.Produce clear documentation for systems and processes.Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and security.Assist with the research, design and implementation of new IT solutions.Develop and enhance internal software using C# and .NET.Write SQL queries, reports and data extracts with a high level of accuracy.Work within the IT ticketing system to prioritise and resolve support requests.Ensure company procedures, health and safety requirements and environmental standards are followed.
