Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements: Strong C or C++ development experienceExperience with a scripting language such as Python, Groovy or BashStrong software engineering fundamentals and an interest in performance optimisationExperience developing for real-time embedded systems and LinuxKnowledge of SIMD, FPGA or DSP-based hardware accelerationUnderstanding of signal processing and optimisation techniquesExperience with FPGA toolchains, particularly Xilinx VivadoExposure to O-RAN architecture and fronthaul protocols such as eCPRIExperience working with ARM-based platforms Responsibilities: Develop software used to run and test 5G NR PHY algorithmsDevelop and optimise platform-specific code for embedded systemsApply SIMD, multi-threading and hardware acceleration techniquesIntegrate PHY algorithms with ARM-based platforms and boardsImprove and maintain CI testing across the platformSupport interoperability testing with customers, vendors and operatorsWork closely with hardware, system architecture and system-test teamsContribute to technical reviews and customer-facing activities Technologies: ARMBashEmbeddedFPGAGroovyHardwareSupportLinuxPythonC++ More:
