A great opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to assist in our friendly and busy children's out-patients, assisting with height, weight, urinalysis and observations and to chaperone and assist in clinic and keep areas clean, safe and tidy.

Due to current Home Office Guidelines, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is unable to provide sponsorship for this role.

Main duties of the job

Assist in clinics with the consultant or Doctors Patients observation and carrying out vital signs Supervise patients in clinic and assisted where needed Keep areas clean, safe and tidy. Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team. Notes preparation.

Person Specification

Experience Essential

Care work in a hospital setting, community or care home Working with members of the public

Skills Essential

Good verbal and written command of English. Numeracy skills (demonstrated through qualifications or experience) Ability to organise and conduct own work in a professional manner

Knowledge Essential

Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality

Qualifications Essential

Ability to complete Care certificate within allocation timeframes

Desirable

NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
