We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Contraception & Sexual Health Nurse to join our dedicated Bristol team for a six-month fixed-term opportunity. This is your chance to become part of the UK's leading sexual health and wellbeing charity for young people, helping to ensure that young people receive the information, support and clinical care they need to make informed choices about their sexual health and relationships.

Essential criteria

Understanding of communication skills required to work with a diverse client group including those with complex needs that can include disability and communication difficulties

Awareness of issues affecting young people, especially in the area of sexuality and personal relationships

Able to work to the service rota, to meet the needs of the service, including weekends /evenings

Current Nurse and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered Nurse (Sub part 1 of the NMC register)/Registered Midwife

Recognised qualification in Contraception and Sexual Health

Sexually Transmitted Infections Foundation (STIF) Course (or successful completion of the STIF course within 12 months of commencing post)

Faculty of Reproductive Sexual Healthcare (FSRH) Letter of Competence or equivalent qualification in Sub-dermal contraceptive implants (or successful completion of SDI training within 12 months of commencing post)
