Job summary Could your expertise help someone live a more independent and fulfilling life?

As a Social Worker in the Adult Learning Disabilities Team, you'll support adults with learning disabilities to live independently, make informed choices and achieve the best possible outcomes. Working across the Island, you'll carry out assessments, develop person-centred care plans and build strong relationships with individuals, families and partner agencies.

You'll take the lead on complex cases, contribute to safeguarding work and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure people receive the right support at the right time. This is an opportunity to use your professional expertise, advocate for those who need it most and play a key role in shaping positive futures within your community.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

- Social Work Professional Qualification (e.g. BA/MA Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work, Dip. SW, CQSW). - Be registered with Social Work England.

Experience Essential

Post qualifying experience as a social worker

Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
