About this role

Job summary Compliance and revalidation

Workforce compliance and medical revalidation support are important parts of this role.

You'll coordinate and quality-check activity including:

Right to work and identity checks. DBS checks and references. Occupational health clearance. Professional registration and qualification checks. Employment gaps and role-specific compliance requirements. Compliance records, trackers and supporting evidence. You'll also act as Cora's revalidation support officer, providing administrative coordination for medical revalidation and helping ensure actions, records and deadlines are properly maintained.

You don't need to arrive as an expert in every aspect of medical revalidation, but you will need strong attention to detail, confidence working with regulated processes and the ability to follow up actions and raise concerns promptly.

Supporting the People Operations team

The Lead People Coordinator is the first point of day-to-day support for our People Coordinators when they encounter a more complex query, an unfamiliar process or competing priorities.

This is not a formal line management role. You will, however, provide practical support by:

Answering process questions and helping colleagues identify the right next step. Quality-checking more complex or higher-risk work. Helping the team maintain visibility of priorities and deadlines. Sharing knowledge and supporting the induction and development of colleagues. Escalating risk

As Cora continues to develop, there will be opportunities to support practical improvements across People Operations.

Depending on team priorities, you may contribute to:

Developing and maintaining content for our colleague hub. Improving process guides, templates, checklists and standard operating procedures. Mapping existing processes and identifying unnecessary steps or duplication. Supporting updates to HR systems, service desk workflows and automated processes. Testing changes and helping new processes become part of day-to-day working. Creating clearer guidance for colleagues and managers. Using feedback and recurring queries to identify where processes could be simpler or more effective. You won't be expected to redesign everything alone. You'll work alongside the People Operations & Resourcing Partner and wider People Team to turn agreed improvements into practical resources and processes.

We're looking for an experienced Lead People Coordinator to join our People Operations team at Cora Health.

This is a varied senior coordination role covering employee lifecycle administration, and onboarding, workforce compliance, medical revalidation support, systems and day-to-day support for our People Coordinators.

You'll join an established and collaborative team, helping us deliver an accurate, responsive and well-organised service to colleagues, candidates and managers.

You'll also have opportunities to contribute to the continued development of our People services. This could include helping to improve processes, developing resources for our colleague hub, updating guidance and templates, and supporting improvements to our systems and ways of working.

What we're looking for

You'll have experience in HR, People Operations, onboarding, compliance or employee lifecycle administration.

You'll be comfortable managing detailed work, keeping track of deadlines and dealing with queries that do not always fit neatly into a standard process.

You'll bring:

Experience supporting employee lifecycle, onboarding or compliance processes. Strong organisation and attention to detail. Confidence maintaining employee records, spreadsheets, trackers and reports. Experience using HR systems or other case-management and workflow systems. The judgement to know when to resolve, check or escalate an issue. Clear and supportive communication skills. Confidence helping colleagues understand and follow processes. The ability to manage competing priorities and follow work through to completion. An interest in improving processes, guidance and colleague experience. Discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information. A CIPD Level 3 qualification, or equivalent practical experience, would be welcomed.

Experience in healthcare, regulated services, professional registration, medical revalidation, DBS, visa sponsorship or organisations delivering services to NHS partners would be useful, but isn't essential.
