Your responsibilities will include delivering outstanding care, ensuring individuals receive personalised support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion, while driving quality and overseeing CQC registration to meet all regulatory requirements. You will lead and develop teams, providing effective management and direction. Lastly, ensuring accountability by managing safeguarding concerns and driving continuous improvement is crucial in this role.

Demonstrable experience of working within a respite service, ideally within the Learning Disability sector. Strong understanding of the adult social care sector and relevant regulatory frameworks, including CQC requirements. Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to effectively oversee a service and staff team. Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills. A flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service. Driving Licence and access to a vehicle. Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Previous experience as a Registered Manager is highly desirable. Applicants should have demonstrable experience working within a respite service, ideally within the Learning Disability sector, and a strong understanding of the adult social care sector and relevant regulatory frameworks. Proven leadership and management experience, along with excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills, are essential. A flexible approach to working hours, a driving licence, and access to a vehicle are also required. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of 12 months remaining on their Right to work in the UK.
