Job Description:

Vitalant is seeking a Lead Registered Nurse dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Lead Registered Nurse is vital. You will play a pivotal role in supporting Vitalant's life-saving mission by conducting advanced clinical procedures, which encompass therapeutic apheresis procedures including stem cell, granulocyte, and lymphocyte collections, all while operating under the supervision of a licensed physician.

As a Lead Registered Nurse, you'll get to

• Provide excellent care to our patients. • Deliver therapeutic interventions or equivalent expertise, (such as infusion, dialysis, or critical care). • Work autonomously in various clinical settings. • Coordinate with physicians and nurses from different hospitals for therapeutic treatments. • Train clinical apheresis staff and assess performance of procedures. • Utilize your clinical judgment to ensure appropriate and safe apheresis treatments. • Act as a clinical consultant for patient treatment planning. • Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing required. • Bachelor's degree preferred. • Knowledge of rationale and techniques relating to assigned duties required. • 2 years of previous hospital experience or related experience required. • RN license in state of practice required. • Current CPR certification required. • Valid driver's license required.
