About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Assistant Building Manager to support the Building Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of assigned buildings, ensuring facilities are safe, well-maintained, and operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor the compliance with contract requirement specifications, service levels and KPIs for performance evaluations;
• Assist in the monitoring and ensuring that each staff member discharges their duties diligently
• Prepare, consolidate and check submissions of all required monthly reports, certificates of payment, work orders and checklists to the Authority;
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for technical systems, fire safety, workplace safety and health, etc.
• Provide professional expertise in energy management, conducting energy audits, implementing energy efficiency measures, and assisting the Authority with the reduction of energy and water consumption and costs (where applicable)
• Support the implementation of Singapore's Green Mark certification scheme by assessing and certifying buildings for environmental sustainability and energy efficiency standards;
Requirements
• Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building operations, or integrated facilities management, with at least 1 year in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience managing multiple sites, vendors, maintenance operations, and facilities-related projects.
• Demonstrated experience in budget planning, cost control, contract administration, and vendor performance management.
