Kingsway Park High School is seeking a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant (Level 3) or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join Seacole, our specialist inclusion provision.

Depending on your qualifications, skills and experience, you will be appointed as either a Teaching Assistant Level 3 or Higher Level Teaching Assistant, with an actual salary of £21,704 - £26,875.

Seacole provides personalised support for students who need additional academic, social and emotional support while remaining connected to mainstream school life wherever possible. Working as part of our inclusion team, you will build positive relationships with students, helping them develop confidence, resilience and the skills they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

About the roleYou will:

Build positive, trusting relationships with students to help them overcome barriers to learningSupport students with SEND, SEMH and additional needs to engage successfully with schoolDeliver targeted interventions for individuals and small groupsSupport high-quality teaching and learning across a range of curriculum areasHelp create a calm, structured and nurturing learning environmentWork collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams and SEND colleagues to provide personalised supportMonitor student progress and contribute to planning the next steps in their learningPromote students' confidence, resilience, independence and self-regulationApply positive behaviour strategies consistently to support engagement and successWhere appropriate to your level of appointment, lead planned learning activities or provide short-term classroom supervisionWhat We Are Looking ForWhether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step or an established HLTA looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, HLTA status or equivalent experienceHas experience of working with children or young people aged 11-16Has experience supporting students with SEND, SEMH or additional needsCan build positive, professional relationships that help young people flourishIs patient, resilient and calm, even when faced with challenging situationsCan adapt learning and support to meet individual student needsHas excellent communication and teamwork skillsUnderstands the importance of safeguarding and inclusionIs committed to helping every young person achieve their potentialIs willing to continue developing professionallyWhat We OfferAt Kingsway Park High School and Altus Education Partnership, we are deeply committed to developing our staff and supporting long-term careers.
