About this role

Essex Westford School District (EWSD) is seeking a full-time, school-year EHS Campus Support to join Essex High School for the 2026–2027 school year. This position plays an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive school environment by supervising students, supporting positive behavior and academic success, responding to student and staff needs, and assisting with the daily operations of the school. Working under the direction of the school principal, this role helps ensure students have a positive and successful school experience. Pay: $26.21/hour+ based on experience Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:

• Monitoring school activities, facilities, and common areas (i.e. hallways, cafeteria)

• Supervising students, including study halls, in-school suspension, and after-school detention.

• Circulating around school facilities (i.e. grounds, roads, buildings, eating areas, adjacent areas, parking lots, etc.) for the purpose of providing administrative visibility and supporting students.

• Assisting school administrators and front office staff to resolve attendance and behavior concerns.

• Interacting thoughtfully and courteously with students, community, staff, and administration.

• Supporting the District's equity work by keeping equity and inclusion at the forefront of actions and decisions.

• Providing a restorative and social skills approach to the work with students.

• Maintain confidentiality.

• Establishing and maintaining effective rapport with students and effective working relationships with staff members.
