About this role

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of Rank II with three (3) years' experience working in Kentucky schools, experience working with low- income youth, and must be certified with middle school or high school math or English/Language Arts experience. REPORTS TO: Principal JOB GOAL: To create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to lead students toward fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth and maturation; to establish good relationships with parents and other staff. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and terms of employment according to approved salary schedules. EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the district evaluation plan. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide academic interventions to all students both individually and collectively.

• Use early warning system to determine individual student needs.

• Assist all students in meeting CCR targets and benchmarks.

• The ability to tutor students in academic disciplines of math and/or English.

• Understanding of the skills and academic levels needed to be college and career ready.

• Connect with teachers and families to ensure student receives appropriate interventions.

• Review student data to determine impact of interventions and next steps.

• Believe that all students can be college and career ready.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
