• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software applications, databases, algorithms, data structures, or object-oriented programming.
• Academic, internship, or project exposure to Java, SQL, XML, APIs, Linux, or enterprise applications would be considered an advantage.
• Basic understanding of pricing, charging, subscriptions, prepaid, postpaid, or usage-based business models would be beneficial.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to understand business rules and translate them into structured system logic.
• Interest in developing expertise in SAP Convergent Charging and the wider SAP BRIM landscape.
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications, utilities, digital services, mobility, financial services, or other high-volume transactional industries would be an advantage.
• Exposure to SAP technologies, SAP Learning Hub, openSAP, or SAP certification programmes would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence would be considered an advantage.
• Business proficiency in English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage assigned activities, learning objectives, priorities, and deadlines under appropriate guidance.
• Willingness to undertake structured SAP training and certification.
Responsibilities
• Participate in SAP Convergent Charging implementation, support, enhancement, and testing activities.
• Learn how SAP Convergent Charging supports real-time and batch-based rating and charging processes.
• Assist in documenting charging requirements, pricing rules, allowances, counters, charge plans, and usage-based scenarios.
• Support the creation and maintenance of charge plans, charging plans, pricing macros, mapping tables, and range tables.
• Assist senior consultants in translating pricing requirements into SAP Convergent Charging configurations.
• Support the setup and validation of subscriber accounts, provider contracts, charging contracts, and chargeable items.
• Assist with the configuration of pricing, discounts, bundles, recurring charges, one-time charges, and usage-based charges.
• Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Prepare test cases, expected results, test evidence, reconciliation reports, and defect documentation.
• Assist with the investigation of rejected chargeable items, incorrect charging results, contract errors, and pricing discrepancies.
• Support integration activities between SAP Convergent Charging, SAP Convergent Mediation, SAP Convergent Invoicing, and external systems.
• Participate in requirement-gathering meetings, design workshops, knowledge-transfer sessions, and project demonstrations.
• Maintain project documentation, configuration records, process flows, and operational support guides.
• Complete assigned SAP Convergent Charging learning paths, capability assessments, and certification objectives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain assigned tasks and defects in Jira or similar tools.
• Communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers to the relevant project lead.
• Contribute to reusable charging templates, internal demonstrations, knowledge articles, and capability-development initiatives.
