About this role

Job summary

The post holder will work as part of the Babies, Children and Young People Division providing admin support to the Community Children Nurses team. The role is to help support the overall work of the team and support all teams with admin tasks and projects, as well as liaise with the school teams.

Main duties of the job

To ensure all patient appointments for clinics and home visits (CCN's) are booked in accordance with Trust and departmental procedures. Work proactively to achieve high levels of patient attendance in clinic. Maintain accurate waiting and caseload lists to ensure all patients are seen for first and follow-up appointments in a timely manner - escalating as necessary.

Arrange the nurses training schedule for school / nursery staff, carers and holiday clubs. Support the production of accurate and timely service data. Use the data to ensure the smooth running of the service. Be an expert user of the Trust's PAS to carry out the above tasks and support other staff. Support the overall work of the team and provide cover for colleagues as required.

5 GCSE's or equivalent Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience
