Fixed-Term Salaried GP 6-Months Maternity Cover
Starting September 2026 Potential for a Permanent Position
Due to maternity leave, we're looking for an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team at Station View Health Centre in Hinckley.
Although this is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract, if the role proves to be a great fit for both parties, there may be the opportunity for a permanent position in the future.
Main duties of the job
GP duties - As a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a broad range of acute, chronic and preventative health needs. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will undertake face-to-face and telephone consultations, manage clinical correspondence and test results, contribute to continuity of care, and support the ongoing development of practice services. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care while helping the practice meet its clinical and quality objectives.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
GMC registered GP with licence to practise. Excellent clinical, communication and teamwork skills. Compassionate, patient-centred approach. Committed to high-quality, evidence-based care. Organised, adaptable and able to work independently. Interest in service development or a specialist area welcomed.
