Division BAL-Chakan Department Paint & Plating Level / Grade L3 Functional Area Production 1 Job Title Manager (Paint Shop) 2 Reporting Functional reporting to : Functional Head / Department Head Background i) Edu Qualification Desirable: B.E Paint Technology ii) Experience Minimum: 5 Maximum: 12 iii) Age Limit Minimum: 27 Maximum: 34 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: Manager Paint Shop Responsibilities: Planning and executing daily production plan. Monitoring of daily production activities. Monitoring daily quality issues of paint shop. Immediate corrective action & sustenance plan for the same. Daily follow up with NAPL, paint supplier, PPC team etc. to ensure no loss in assembly. Ensuring fulfilment of - required output from cell members, kaizens from cell members, self-initiative kaizens etc. TPM presentation. Monitoring consumption of paint, decals, power, fuel & consumable items. 5 Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: In-depth knowledge of paints/ various painting processes (ED, Powder Coating etc.). Should have good knowledge of paint quality issues & have ability to resolve those issues independently. Should have exposure to work in cross functional team activities. Possess good communication & computer skills. Should have innovative approach for doing improvements related to painting quality improvements. Should be achievement oriented and possess leadership qualities. Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 systems is essential. TPM awareness. Behavioral Effective communication with teams and seniors. Candidate should be able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with deliveries on schedule. Willingness to take initiative as per his organizational objectives and KPI. Willing to work in Shift as per requirement.
