Job Description Job DescriptionLicensed Millwright - Automotive Manufacturing Location: Strasburg, Ontario We are seeking a skilled Licensed Millwright to support maintenance operations within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and production equipment while supporting equipment reliability, workplace safety, and continuous production. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and adjustments on industrial machinery and automated production equipment. • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues involving hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, motors, and production machinery. • Install, align, dismantle, and relocate machinery using precision tools, rigging equipment, and approved safety procedures. • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and complete timely corrective maintenance to minimize production downtime. • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation. • Perform equipment alignment, shaft alignment, welding, fabrication, machining, and mechanical assembly as required. • Support automotive production equipment, robotic cells, automated systems, presses, conveyors, and material-handling equipment. • Complete maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and equipment history documentation. • Participate in continuous improvement, equipment reliability, root-cause analysis, and downtime-reduction initiatives. • Follow all applicable health and safety, lockout/tagout, environmental, and plant procedures. • Collaborate with electricians, maintenance technicians, engineers, production supervisors, and equipment operators. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A licence. • Previous millwright experience in automotive manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or a high-volume production environment. • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and power-transmission systems. • Proven ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance. • Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. • Experience with automated machinery, robotic equipment, presses, or assembly-line equipment is an asset. • Knowledge of lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and industrial safety requirements. • Welding, fabrication, machining, rigging, and equipment-alignment experience is an asset. • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working around industrial equipment. • Availability to work assigned shifts, overtime, weekends, or on-call hours when required.
