Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Wood products manufacturer. Tasks: Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines. Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Replace parts as required. Classify and sort lumber according to industry standards. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Equipment and machinery experience: Saws. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding.
