We are seeking a sales-driven Business Development Specialist who can actively bring in new business and grow client relationships in our Traffic Control and Work Zone Safety division. This is not a passive account management role — we need someone who is confident in selling, prospecting, closing deals, and building long-term revenue. While direct traffic control experience is preferred, we are open to candidates from power, construction, utilities, telecom, or infrastructure services , provided they demonstrate strong business development capability, bid experience, and client-facing expertise. Location: Office-Based – Kent, WA Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within traffic control and work zone safety services. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, municipalities, utilities, and project managers. Support the preparation of bids, proposals, RFPs, and RFQs , including gathering scope details and coordinating pricing with internal teams. Work closely with operations and safety teams to ensure proposals align with field capabilities and compliance standards. Maintain and update the sales pipeline, tracking leads, follow-ups, and active opportunities. Conduct local market research to identify upcoming projects, new clients, and competitive activity. Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and client meetings to support opportunity development. Assist with contract documentation and ensure smooth handoff of awarded projects to operations. Maintain ongoing communication with clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships. Provide regular updates to leadership regarding sales activity, pipeline progress, and market insights.
