The Technical Designer, Men's is responsible for managing the technical development of assigned product categories from concept through production. This role partners closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Production, and vendor partners to ensure all products meet SKIMS' standards for fit, construction, quality, and performance. The Technical Designer will own the fit process, drive technical consistency across categories, and help deliver innovative, best-in-class products that align with the brand's aesthetic and customer expectations. Own the technical development process for assigned Men's categories from concept through production. Lead fit sessions, evaluate garments for fit, balance, construction, comfort, and functionality, and communicate clear technical direction to vendors. Review development, fit, pre-production, and TOP samples to ensure products meet SKIMS' fit, quality, and construction standards. Create and maintain technical specifications, grading, measurement charts, construction details, and fit comments throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, Merchandising, and vendor partners to resolve fit, construction, and manufacturing challenges while maintaining development timelines. Ensure consistency in fit, grading, construction, and quality across product categories and vendor base. Analyze garment construction, pattern execution, fabrics, and trim applications to recommend technical improvements. Maintain accurate technical documentation, sample records, fit history, and development tracking within PLM. Support the development and evolution of fit standards, construction guidelines, and technical best practices. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Work in a hybrid environment, collaborating in-office for fittings, product reviews, milestone meetings, and cross-functional development activities as business needs require.
