Job summary
Starting as a Care Assistant, you can earn up to £13.50 per hour within the first 12 to 18 months and learn valuable specialised clinical skills in the process. Our FastTrack Care Assistant programme is now open to new applicants who demonstrate our Values, are motivated to learn how to deliver outstanding care.
Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant, you will:
Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of care to vulnerable patients. Assisting residents with all their personal needs, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times Ensure documentation is completed in a timely fashion, reflecting the care delivered and escalate concerns regarding a patients health and wellbeing to the nurse in charge at the earliest possible opportunity Be friendly, kind and compassionate towards patients, relatives, visitors, and colleagues, respecting the dignity and individuality of each patient
