We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapists to join our Staff Bank, supporting services across both acute and community settings. You will work across a variety of acute and community services, depending on service need and your clinical experience.
Acute Services
Our acute Occupational Therapy teams work across a range of specialties, including:
Emergency Department Older People's Services Acute Medical Unit General Medicine Stroke and Neurology Trauma and Elective Orthopaedics Renal and Oncology General Surgery and Vascular Services Critical Care and Respiratory Services
Main duties of the job
Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy assessments, treatment plans and interventions. Support effective discharge planning and facilitate safe transitions of care. Work flexibly across specialties and services to meet operational requirements. Provide person-centred care within hospital, rehabilitation and community settings. Collaborate effectively as part of multidisciplinary teams. Contribute to positive patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and professional expertise.

To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification. Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Have relevant post-registration experience, ideally at Band 6 level or equivalent. Demonstrate excellent communication, clinical reasoning and organisational skills. Be adaptable, proactive and able to work across a range of service environments. Be committed to delivering high-quality care and promoting patient independence. Additional Information
